It only takes a few minutes to set up 3CX Mobile Device Manager and start taking advantage of its features.
Step 1: Register with 3CX Mobile Device Manager
Step 2: Install the 3CX MDM Client on Your Android Device
When your account has been activated, download the 3CX Mobile Device Manager Client from Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tcx.mdm
Step 3: Enter the Account Name in the 3CX MDM Client
After installation, launch the 3CX Mobile Device Manager client and enter your account name. The 3CX MDM Client will connect to the 3CX MDM server. It will ask permission to send your Google Account user name to the server, so that the administrator can identify you. No password will be sent – just your Google account name.
If you do not have a Google account associated with your device, log in to the 3CX Mobile Device Manager Administration Portal (See step 4), and click on the Users node, Add User -> Add Local User and create a new user. Once the 3CX MDM Client connects to the server, the user will be prompted to enter these details.
Step 4: Log in to the 3CX Mobile Device Manager Administration Portal
Now go to https://admin.mobiledevicemanager.com/ and log in with your credentials.
Please note that your account name is in lower-case characters and the email address you assigned to your account is case sensitive, e.g. if you assigned Info@MobileDeviceManager.com, you won’t be able to log in with firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your device should be immediately visible in the ‘Pending’ list. After accepting a device, it will immediately be removed from the ‘Pending’ list and added to ‘Devices’. Within a minute or two, the status will update on the device and start showing a green status on the server meaning that the device is active. You can install the client on other Android devices by repeating steps 2 to 4.
